Tim Boniface is a freelance multi-instrumental jazz performer, arranger, and musical director working in the UK. Tim plays saxophones, piano, guitar, flugelhorn/trumpet, clarinet, bass guitar and sings, in his own small and big bands, as part of other musicians’ projects, and as a session player. Tim is well regarded as a skilled, energetic, sensitive musician with an authentic jazz sound routed in the ‘mainstream’ tradition but branching out into traditional dixieland, blues, funk and pop; his playing is full of irresistible swing, powerful soaring melodies, and a sense of justwhat the audience wants to hear.

Harp Bazaar-234_0

Harp Bazaar is the only band in the world to combine the majestic and delicate sound of the harp with the speed and erratic energy of traditional Gypsy Swing.

The band has performed at Le Quecumbar, London’s most famous gypsy jazz venue, held a year long residency at North London’s favourite music pub, played at the established Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club and toured Italy to sold out audiences in 2016.
